When do I start weaning my baby onto solid food?
Why do you introduce new foods only every 3rd day?

Q - Why do you only introduce a new food every 3 days initially?

A - You do not want to overload your baby's system when you start to wean onto solids - also it will enable you do easily identify any foods that your baby may have an adverse reaction to.

Q - How big is a portion?

A - This does depend on each individual baby but our planner provides a guide amount but don't worry if your baby has more or less - it's just meant to be an indication.

Q - How do I know if my baby has had enough to eat?

A - Your baby will soon let you know how much he or she wants to eat - you'll get to know the signs very quickly! Usually a clamped mouth, spitting out, shaking of the head or worse!
